Just as yucky as hers, probably a bit older. I am sure it was a yard sale find, or handed down from someone … because I don’t remember every buying a baking sheet.

Not quite as clean & shiny, she must have more elbow grease than I do, seriously! I will give it another go, after my Motrin kicks in

Been working like a crazy person on an Estate Sale … had a super short time line to meet … 1 WEEK!! So I was “in it” to say the very least. All in all it was a hugely successful venture, we sold an entire house full of furniture, glassware, china, etc., recycled 12 or so bags of textiles, had many a happy customer and, most importantly, a happy client 
Here is a little overview of what I posted oh so long ago …
A big SHOUT OUT to the SbS fans of the last 2 weeks!!! So sorry guys … Karen & Trudy … thank you so much for commenting and sharing on the FB page. It means the world to me to get feedback … AHHH love that virtual love.
Another fantabulous project from the fantabulous boys over at Our Crafty Home … a Magnetic Chalkboard Door … an alternate to the fridge door!!!
Finally the Pin … I love a wall of mirrors, I have one in my living room … so here is the pin, from designsponge.com featuring hand mirrors … CUTE!

See what happens when I don’t have an outside project? I spend time honing my skills in my own place.
This was my linen closet …
~ Confession ~ I can’t remember if I painted it before we moved in! Anyway, here is what it looks like empty … not so nice, huh?
I have to fit a lot in there, space is at a premium … no bathroom storage to speak of. There was not very much that could be purged, I had to get it all back in there. After a coat of paint, that I had on hand, back it all went, like a puzzle, Tetris if you will … sheets, towels, washcloths, bathroom cleaning supplies, back stock toiletries, 2 hampers, and the guest linens.
OOOHHH so nice and clean …
I know, say it again, there are worse closets, you don’t have a lot of stuff … and again I reply YUP! We make the choice to have less … really who needs more than 3 or 4 sets of sheets per bed? That may even be too many.
I am pleased, even the Hubby noticed … small, inexpensive and sometimes no cost changes, can make all the difference.

Do you use it? I do … I use Fels-Naptha for laundry pre-treatment and for my hand wash dedicates … 
According to the Mother Nature Network Back-to-Basics Series it is good for just about everything …
And like any good “Back to basics” product, Fels-Naptha is extremely versatile. It can be used to remove soap scum in bathrooms, clean paintbrushes, sooth bug bites, treat poison ivy, oak, and sumac rashes, and when used in combination with other natural ingredients, a Fels-Naptha-based tonic helps keep bugs and weeds at bay in gardens. And here’s an interesting tidbit: it’s rumored that in the 1920s and 30s, jumbo-sized Fels-Naptha was the preferred type of soap used by mothers when “washing out the mouths” of potty-mouthed children.
We have used it to wash up after time in the out of doors, not sure if it really works, or if we just weren’t around any poison ivy … but it does make me feel like we are at least trying, ‘cuz my peeps get poison ivy in a bad way!
It is also an ingredient in homemade laundry soap … rumor has it that 1 grated bar of Fels along with Borax and Baking Soda can make a years worth of detergent … Fels does have dyes & perfumes so I won’t be using it for all of the laundry.

Trolling Lifehacker this a.m., as I sometimes do, I found this article from 2009, Top 10 MacGyver-Style Cleaning Tricks, and one tip jumped out at me …. Clean the Dishwasher with Kool-Aid, (originally posted by Real Simple)
Pour a packet of lemonade Kool-Aid (the only flavor that works) into the detergent cup and run the dishwasher while empty… The citric acid in the mix wipes out stains, so you don’t have to.
I have heard of, or tried some of the other tips … salt to clean up a yucky spill, baking soda & vinegar to unclog a drain, toothpaste to get marker off of the walls … but I have NEVER heard of Kool-Aid in the dishwater … Oh Yeah!
