I have been talking about it for a few weeks now, working on it even longer … we have put together a multi-family sale … MORE LIKE A FLEA MARKET … for this weekend.
The sale is a combination of a couple of moves, an estate, a life changing event, some city kids with a good cause, and some stuff that needs a new home …
HUGE … SbS contributor Claire, her friend, and their kids are traveling up from NYC on Saturday ONLY, with loads of amazing games, puzzles & books … ALL of the proceeds from the sale of these children’s items are being donated to the charity Nothing But Nets.
Nothing but Nets is “… a global, grassroots campaign to raise awareness and funding to fight malaria, a leading cause of death among children in Africa.” Contributions pay for ” … a long-lasting, insecticide-treated bed net, distributing it, and educating communities on its use.” To learn more about the danger of malaria and the impact the addition of a bed net can have on a family’s health & well being please check them out … HERE
There will be tools, furniture, glass, kitchen ware, linens, home goods, art, toys, games, kid’s stuff, grown up stuffs, clothes, shoes, bags, jewels … you name it we probably have it ~ NO Books or Records (so please don’t call me & ask … you know who you are)

Oh how I love a good sale – wish I lived closer! I seriously want those trophies – how much are they? Willing to pop them in the mail?
What a great cause too. My hubs travels to India a few times a year and has to get about 80 shots (including malaria).
